This is an illustration of my beautiful best friend Maile. I love her and I miss her. This girl is amazingly smart, talented, funny, kind, encouraging and altogether lovely. She LOVES New York, but she lives in Atlanta, so all day as I am walking around the city, I think about her and wish she was here to discover new places and duck into cafes with me. Life is always more fun when she is around.

atlanta does house some might fine people...but don't worry, so does new york. you might just have to look a little harder : )
Thus far (five whole days!) everyone been so kind, I think I appreciate it more because it is unexpected, and try to do more because it is so appreciated in return ... even just helping someone reach the top shelf at the grocery!
